Our world has certainly experienced a drastic change since the COVID-19 pandemic began, and during these unprecedented times we are all having to learn how to navigate this new way of life. Not only has our day-to-day been affected, but the wedding industry like many others have been affected as well. There’s one thing that the pandemic can’t take away and that’s love. Love is not cancelled, and no matter which way you slice love truly does conquer all.

A trend that has recently made its way back into the wedding industry is the micro wedding. As couples are having to dwindle down their guest list, or having to reschedule their big day, more and more are opting for a micro wedding as an option to still celebrate on the day they’ve originally chosen. A micro wedding contains all the elements of a traditional ceremony, including your venue, cake, photographers, decor and more. The difference is that it is on a much smaller scale.

A micro wedding typically means keeping your guest list to under 50 people. On the upside, less guests means less accommodations which means you can save a pretty penny to splurge on your honeymoon, staycation, or that dream house you’ve been eyeballing!

Opting for a micro wedding is the best way for couples to celebrate their love, have an outlet of joy during this crazy time, save some money, and have their tiny cake, and eat it too with those they care about most!
